FSM Update Version 2.1

The new version 2.1 of the FSM contains the following new functions and improvements in addition to some bug fixes:

General

Language

  • If no translation is available in the relevant language, English is used automatically. To do this, either the ISDB update (latest version) must contain this feature or you can have the language views generated new in FSM.

Weekly reports

  • The monthly limit can be activated in the General settings in the Weekly reports section. If a week extends from the end of one month to the beginning of the next month, it is split.

Addresses

  • It is now possible to maintain the branches in the general settings in the Addresses section.

Navigation

  • The FSM can be restarted by calling up a new action.

Dynamic search

  • With dynamic searches, the last selected search template is saved. Search template parameters are now merged with the context parameters.

  • Some settings from the XMLs of the dynamic searches can now be overwritten globally. Performance can be greatly improved by deactivating paging and the initial loading of the search.

Technical reports

Countries / Expenses

  • The country table has been revised. Associated sub-national administrative units (e.g. federal states in Germany) are now available.

  • A country can now be linked to a time zone and calendar, as well as belonging to one or more expense entries.

  • The specific country details can be assigned in an address or resource.

  • The address search has been adapted accordingly.

Planning board

  • The period selection has been given a new dialogue with calendar components and period templates.

  • The filters on the left-hand side of the planning board are now displayed in groups and can be expanded and collapsed. The current configuration is saved in the browser.

  • A new option for templates has been added to the "Display settings resource list" section in the user settings.

  • Resources can now also be sorted by first name (see user settings "Display settings resource list").

  • A new setting can automatically change the transmission status when the assignment is changed. You can activate this setting in the "Transmission status (Classic)" section in the "Resource Planning" section of the general settings.

  • The document preview has been added to the "Documents to be sent" section, and documents can also be downloaded individually or as a zip file.

  • Die Anzeige von Feiertagen wurde überarbeitet. Bei Verwendung von Spezialkalendern werden die Bereiche innerhalb der Einsätze eingefärbt analog zum Wochenendschema.

  • The display of public holidays has been revised. When using special calendars, the areas within the assignments are coloured in the same way as the weekend scheme.

  • A new filter has been added to hide finished assignments.

  • The project filter has been revised. Within the new extended project filter, the selected projects are retained in a history.

Resource

  • Documents from other sections (e.g. visas, passports) are now also displayed in the Documents section.

  • In the Field Service section within the Mobile App section, an additional file containing the QR code is now available for download.

  • The requirement profile in the resource search is now in its own tab. There is also a sub-function here to only display resources that fulfil all requirements (skills and availability).

Tickets

  • The drag&drop function for documents in the ticket history has been improved. Newly added documents are now displayed directly in the history without refreshing.

  • To copy one or more materials to one or more machines, this new function must first be activated in the General settings in the Tickets section under "General".

Business Information

  • A new function for exporting charts has been added. All pages can be exported, i.e. several charts are output one below the other. You can adjust the PageSize before exporting.

Other

Service reports

  • A sub-option for "Copy service report" has been added. It is possible to specify which sections are to be copied and which are not. In addition, in the general settings in the "Service reports" section, you can set whether the user can decide what is to be copied and what is not.

Infotool jobs

  • The jobs can now be imported and exported.

Travel report

  • The user interfaces for travel reports are now also available as mobile versions.

E-mails

  • The reply to all function can now also be used from the preview if the e-mail belongs to an object (e.g. ticket). The e-mail is then sent to the recipient and to all those who are in "CC".

  • E-mails can also be forwarded.

  • Local documents that were added when sending an e-mail are now also saved as a document in the document system and added to the object from which the e-mail was sent.

Logging

  • Entries that were previously accessible in a .txt file can now also be logged in the database after additional configuration. This means that the log entries can be viewed directly in the FSM. Further settings are required to be able to use the function after the update (view Logging of error messages in the database).
