FSM Update Version 2.3
The installation of a 2.3 version must be done from a CURRENT 2.2 version, as otherwise problems may arise during the update process.
In addition to several bug fixes, version 2.3 of the FSM includes the following new features:
Planning Board
New option in user configuration: "Only display your own resource in the resource search" (section “Dynamic searches”): This means that only your own assignments are displayed in the assignment search. In combination with "Show only own resource in the planning board", only your own assignments are listed. Both settings are filters in the planning board and assignment search.
UI: The
button for automatic updates has been removed from the "Display" section.
Documents relating to the project now also include documents relating to assignments and service reports.
Service Reports
Site Manager Function: For a project, you can specify additional resources that will work on this specific project. In the Mobile App, it is then possible to record time for employees, i.e., for internal resources and also for external resources, in a service report. These external times can then be distributed in the FSM to other service reports that are linked to the main report. To use the site manager mode, the function must first be activated in the General settings in the service reports section.
For the machines in the report, you can now also edit the individual data in the "lbmaschind" table. This table can also be maintained via the FSM in individual field editing.
Previously, a user could edit a service report if they had write permissions for the associated assignment. This behavior could be overridden by the "commercial approval" permission, meaning that users with this permission could edit service reports even without write permissions. With this version, the "commercial approval" permission no longer overrides the write permissions for the assignment. If necessary, the previous behavior can be restored in the user configuration ("Ignore the write permission check for the assignment for editing").
Travel Report
Status handling has been introduced for processing travel reports (online) via the app (equivalent to service reports). As long as the technician has not marked a travel report as complete, it cannot be further processed at headquarters and remains blocked.
Warehouse
This version of the FSM includes, for the first time, some warehouse functions familiar from the Classic module.
These features must first be enabled in the General Settings and are then available in the main menu
in the General section under

In Warehouse Management, you define warehouses and storage locations; vehicle warehouses can also be mapped. Here, you can also assign resources.
Stock levels can be checked in FSM and moved to other warehouses. Enter items in incoming goods.
Projects, assignments, service reports: Materials can be searched for and added directly in specific warehouses, e.g., vehicle warehouses. All goods issues from assignments or service reports are listed in projects.
Interval Scheduling
Cancelled intervals can be reactivated if this has been enabled in the User configuration beforehand.
Service Level Agreements
Documents can be attached to SLAs, and documents are also transferred to a follow-up agreement.
SmartSearch
With SmartSearch , problems are analyzed based on the service case at hand, and initial search results are provided.
You can refine your search by clicking on highlighted items. A new search opens above the current search results.
It is possible to close all sheets that were opened by the drilldown with a single action. Select the
button in the upper right corner.
You can open search results in a new tab instead of in the sheet.
Another action allows you to copy a path.
Data sources can now be named and the name is displayed in the search.
KI
ChatGPT support can be activated in any text field. Texts can be corrected, translated, or formulated.
A chatbot has been added to the ticket system. It has access to ticket history and e-mails. Questions about the history can be asked and the history can be summarized. It is possible to have important points displayed and open issues can be identified. The bot can access the new semantic search and thus determine possible solutions.
Semantic search: The new search function searches tickets (PROKOMMENTAR), PDFs of a specific category, and the Innosoft Documentation.
Other
Licenses: Before the expiration of licenses (within the next 7 days) for one or more modules, a message is displayed in the header area of the FSM.
json Editor: In the editor, all names of tabs, regions, and fields are displayed in the underlying CRUD mask, as well as the IDs of the statistics. The function for opening the editor can be found within an object in the actions.
