Working with the Planning Board
The planning board displays all available resources and worklists as well as all assignments within a time period specified by you. You can find the
in Innosoft Field Service Management under Field Service in the 
section.
The planning board is a Gantt chart in which assignments are displayed graphically. The assignments are indicated in the form of bars, with the bar length reflecting the time frame and the bar colour representing the type of assignment. Using the start and end points of the bars, the start and end times of the assignments are visualized along the horizontal time axis. In the upper area, the legend of the identifiers describes the different types of assignment.
You can set in the user settings under "Legend identifying codes" that the assignments are counted per code. You can also set which assignments are counted. You can select all assignments, only assignments in the worklist or assignments, which are assigned to resources for counting.
The vertical axis lists the available resources and worklists.
The planning board can be grouped by resources, addresses, projects and machines and thus be used to optimize capacity utilization and project tracking.
In the "Group by" section you can find the buttons for switching to the different views:
Resource view: You get the list sorted by resources by clicking on the button
.
Adress view: To sort by address, click on the button
.
Project view: If you click on the button
, the assignments are displayed sorted by project.
Machine view: With a click on the
button, the assignments are displayed sorted by machine. In each case the first assignment bar can be shifted normally, i.e. further machines for the assignment are displayed as read-only assignments. You can recognize these by the red fixing bars on the right and left end of the assignment bars.
In the context menu 
above the planning board you will find the following views:
Display GeoMap map: Opens GeoMap in the planning board in split-screen view. For more information, see the article Geographical Planning.
Resource view in the planning board: Opens GeoMap in the planning board in split-screen view. The map shows where which resource has an assignment planned in the displayed time period.
Open GeoMap view in a new tab: Opens GeoMap in a separate tab in the browser.
Open resource view in a new tab: Opens GeoMap in the resources view in a separate tab in the browser.
Export planning board as a PNG-image: Exports the current display of the planning board as a PNG image and downloads it automatically.
