Mobile App Update – Version 2.8.0

We will release Mobile App 2.8 at the end of 2025. This article provides a brief overview of the new features. Please follow the links for more details on each feature.

RichText Support

The Mobile App supports the entry and display of long texts with simple formatting elements (RTF format). Activation per field is carried out via the General Settings in the FSM. Please note the version notes in RichTexts in the App . There you will find further information on the function, including activation and storage in the database.

Creating an assignment within the app (emergency assignment)

Technicians can create assignments from the Mobile App. An important use case is the spontaneous creation of assignments during on-call servcice.

You can activate this functionality via the App Server Admin Console. Assignments can also be created without a permanent online connection. However, the customer's address is required to create the assignment, which can be loaded via an online search if it is not already available on the device. You will receive important information about this functionality in Emergency Assignments .

Editing contact master data

The technician can edit contacts in the Mobile App, for example, to correct a phone number or add new contact persons to the project.

This functionality is disabled by default. It can be enabled via the App Server or in the FSM (General Settings ). The technician's changes are not directly transferred to the existing master data in the office, but must be approved by an office employee via the FSM. During the approval process, the reviewer sees the technician's changes and can make adjustments before approving and transferring them to the master data. The reviewer can also reject the adjustments with an optional explanation and thus discard the changes. For more technical information, see Master Data Editing - Contact Persons .
