Professional Experiences (Skills)

In the section images/download/thumbnails/494469417/F%C3%A4higkeiten_EN_img.png of the General settings, you can activate that you want to use skills. You can enter skills for resources as well as store skills for addresses, tickets or assignments.

General

With the setting "Use skills main group dependent" you can define whether skill categories can be defined per main group. If a category does not have a main group defined, then it will be displayed for all main groups and otherwise only for the selected main groups.

System rights override the maingroup rights.

With "Consider priority" you can set whether a priority can be defined for a skill. This priority can only be evaluated in statistics and has no influence on the system.

With the setting "Consider target values" you can set whether the target value can also be specified for the resources in addition to the actual value. The target value can then also be evaluated in statistics and has no influence on the system.

You can specify a Maximum value for skills and priority. The highest maximum value for skills is 9 and for priorities 99.

Categories

To select a category in the tree view, click on a category and the skills for the category are then displayed in the "Professional experiences (skills)" section. In the tree view, all nodes that are not folders are categories.

If you create a new category, then you can choose between the types Folder, Numeric and Date and set a label. The type "Folder" cannot get any skills and is used to group categories. In the numeric categories, only a value between 0 and 9 can be entered for the skills. If you set "Date" as the category type, then the date can be specified for the resources (e.g. until when a driver's license is valid). If a date is activated for an assignment, then, for example, a valid driver's license is required for the assignment. Date categories are not displayed for machines, tickets, and addresses.

If you edit a category, then a dialog opens in which you can translate all active languages in the Translations area. In the "Description" field, you can enter a description of the category, which is then displayed with the category. If "Skills use main group dependent" is active, then you can select the main group for which the category is visible in the "Main group rights" area. You can use the images/download/thumbnails/494469456/L%C3%B6schen_X_weiss_EN_img.png -button to remove a category.

Professional experiences (skills)

In the "Skills" section you can add a skill to the selected category by clicking the images/download/thumbnails/494469237/Neu_Icon_EN_img.png -button. If you edit a skill, you can add translations. If "Consider priority" is active, then you can specify the priority in the "Priority" section. To delete a skill, you should press the images/download/thumbnails/494469456/L%C3%B6schen_X_weiss_EN_img.png -button.

The skills and categories are translated and displayed in the respective editing screen in the user language.
