Creating a new interval

To create a new interval, go to the "Interval planning" area in the main menu

and select the item

under "Intervals".

General section:

• Intervall No.: Enter the number manually or use the

  -button. The advantage of using the

  -button is that the number from the associated number range is used.

• Title *: Enter a meaningful title.

• Start *: Set the start date of the interval.

• End: Optionally, you can enter an end date for the interval.

• Delivery address *: Access the address search by clicking on the

  -button. Alternatively, enter the first letters of the address name or city to facilitate the selection.

• Project: To assign a project, you can create a new project via the

  -button or select an existing project via the

  -button. Otherwise, you can enter the name of the project and select the desired project from the list. The project field is mandatory after you have activated the interval.
  

• Main group *: Select the proper main group from the drop-down list.

• State: The status field cannot be changed.

• Code: Select the identifier from the drop-down list.

All fields marked with * are mandatory. Afterwards, save the interval by clicking on the

-button. The sections

appear now. In the "Documents" section, you can store files or URLs (links) that are relevant for the interval. For more information, refer to the article "Attachment of Documents".

Switch to the section , to schedule the time ranges and activities.

Enable interval

With the action you give the approval for the interval. Afterwards, you cannot change the "Start" field via the interface. The actions , , and appear.

Actions on active intervals

• Use to end the interval planning.
  

• Use the action to cancel the started interval planning.

• If you want to move the start or end date of an activated interval, use the action .

• With the action you create interval cycles up to the date entered under "To be pre-planned until". Then click on the action . The "Result" section shows how many interval cycles you have triggered, the number of executions and assignments generated, until when the interval has been pre-planned and whether conflicts arose.
