Machine Data Management
The entered machine data can be used to find out the location of a machine, upcoming maintenance dates or required spare parts.
Creating a new machine
Switch to the section "General" via the main menu
and select the entry
under "Machines" to create a new machine.
Maschine number: To assign a number automatically, click on the button
. Alternatively, you can also enter an existing machine number.
Address number: Enter the first letters of the city or address name and click on the machine's location address in the selection that appears.
In the
section you can specify a different address or coordinates.
Installed on: Type the date or select the installation date of the machine from the calendar overview.
Warranty expires: Enter the end date of the warranty period or select it from the calendar overview.
Once you have entered the data in all required fields, save the new machine using the icon
. The machine can now be found in the Innosoft system. Now you can switch to the area
and use the machine search for components to be added by clicking on the button
.With the
-button you can edit the marked machine. If you want to remove a machine from the components, select the machine in the table and click on the
-button. Under
you can also add add documents or hyperlinks. In the area
you define any required skills for the machine.
Adding an image
In the
area in the "Image" section, you can add an image for the selected machine, which will be displayed in the machine search. To do this, click on
and select your desired picture.
Click on
to remove an image. Save your changes by clicking on
.
If you have not defined an icon, a predefined image will be used for the search. For more information on configuring default images, see the article "Search".
Search machine
To find an existing machine in the Innosoft system, select the link
under "Machines" in the "General" area. You can get help on how to use the search in the article "Search for Objects".
Further processing
You can now allocate the machine to a project, to a ticket or consider it for Interval planning.
When a machine is no longer in use, its status can be changed from "Active" to "Passive".
