Mobile App Update – Version 2.6.0 / 2.6.2
Versions 2.6.0 and 2.6.2 of the Mobile App contain the following new functions and adjustments:
2.6.0
Portal view: Travel reports
You can now create travel reports in the Mobile App.
Special masks from the FSM are displayed, adapted to the Mobile App.
The FSM does not need to be accessible from the Internet. Only the App Server requires access to the FSM.
The following versions are required for functionality:
FSM version 2.2
App Server 2.6. Please note that .NET 8 is now required for deployment. Installation recommendation via the hosting bundle: https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/download/dotnet/thank-you/runtime-aspnetcore-8.0.11-windows-hosting-bundle-installer.
Currencies
Conversion of currencies
The total costs of cash expenses are only converted into the local currency if necessary.
If all cash expenses are recorded in US dollars, for example, the total is also displayed in US dollars.
Currencies remain selected
When adding cash expenses, the app uses the last currency used (per assignment).
Documents
Document import from assignment into the service report
New action
has been added in the document section.
For example, technicians can now determine which documents are sent as attachments when the completed service report is sent by e-mail.
Selection dialog offers a search to narrow down the documents.
Camera integration for Windows
The Windows version now contains the same camera option in the document creation menu as the app on iOS and Android.
Changed application name Windows App
This only affects users who have installed the app via a .zip directory from us. If the app was installed via .msix or .appinstaller, you are not affected.
Please note the following changes when updating:
The name of the app has changed from "Innosoft Mobile.exe" to "InnosoftMobile.exe".
Shortcuts that have already been created, e.g. on the desktop, must be replaced or edited.
2.6.2
Documents
Multiple image import for Android & iOS
In the Android and iOS version of the app, it is now possible to select several images at once and upload them to the document section, just like on Windows.
You can adjust the title, file name, category and comment for all selected images.
Spell check
Spell check has been added to the Windows version and is enabled by default in the settings.
The app uses the dictionary integrated in Windows.
The language used for the check depends on the language of the app.
You can correct selected words with a right click or add the word to the dictionary via the menu.
