You can fill the Id when creating a new resource type by clicking the -button or manually assign a number that is not yet used by another resource type. The colour can be selected from a colour palette, which is then displayed in the planning board. Alternatively you can select the shuffle button to choose a random colour.

In the Translations section, you must enter at least the name for one language so that you can save the resource type.

Under Main group affiliation you can choose which main group(s) should be superordinate to the resource type.

First, you can decide whether you want to choose one of the suggested basic colours or use the colour picker to adjust the tone of the colour yourself. To do this, click on the respective colour to open the colour picker. Click and drag the slider on the right side to the desired hue and click the desired colour in the colour picker (rectangular box).

Alternatively, a hex colour code can be entered below it, preceded by #.

If you want to select one of the basic colours, click in the upper area and select an existing colour.
