Translations

In Field Service Management, you can maintain your own translations or renamings.

You access the Translations area via the main menu images/download/thumbnails/494470919/Hauptmen%C3%BC_img.png and the Settings section. There under images/download/thumbnails/494470693/Administration_men%C3%BC_img.png you select the link images/download/thumbnails/494471375/%C3%9Cbersetzungen_EN_img.png .

After loading the data, a table with the translations is displayed. Select the translations to be edited there. For translations that have several keys, the column can be expanded to view all keys. The active translation value is displayed in each case, i.e. the default value or the modified designation (“custom”), if available.

Input of new keys

To create a new key, click on the images/download/thumbnails/494470948/Plus-Icon-rund_magenta_img.png button. Specify the affiliation to an application or module and enter the key. You can now call up the newly created key via the search in the table. Then assign the translation texts, i.e. custom values for the respective languages. Save your entries by clicking on the images/download/thumbnails/494470454/Speichern_Haken-grau_img.png icon. You can now access the newly created key via the search in the list.

Duplicate keys are not permitted. No default values can be assigned for the newly created translation.

Change designation/translation

Select the languages to be translated from the list in the Languages row above the table. Now enter your changes to the custom values in the input lines below the table.

Finally, confirm your entries by clicking on the icon images/download/thumbnails/494470454/Speichern_Haken-grau_img.png .
