Resource Planning

In the section "Resource Planning" you can define specific settings and restrictions that relate to Working with the Planning Board of the Resource Planning.

• Start planning board in "read only" mode: Activate this setting if the user is not allowed to make changes in the planning grid. The entire Gantt chart is offered exclusively for viewing.

• Show all projects when project filter is activated: When using the project filter, this setting means that the remaining assignments are not hidden in the planning board but are displayed in a neutral colour.

• Automatic project filter: This filter ensures that the planning board is automatically reduced to the projects entered for the user in the section Project Plan.

• Show only own resource in the planning board: The planning grid display is restricted to the resource assigned to the user.

• Time horizon: This allows you to limit the view into the future and the past in the planning board. After you have activated the checkbox two further fields are displayed with which you set the time limits in the future and past.

• Approval level: The specification of a release level should be seen in connection with a release process for assignments. Such a release process (possibly multilevel) can be established in the Innosoft FSM. At this point you determine up to which of the set up release levels this user is authorized to issue the release.
