Required Skills

Required skills are provided in the Innosoft programme package for resources and for various objects. Assign defined permissions to a user which allow him to view and edit the skill lists of objects.

In the section "Required Skills" of the menu item User Configuration use the first five checkboxes to select the objects for which a user has conditional access to the skill lists. With the following two checkboxes you decide whether the required skills are automatically added to a ticket or a project. These data are determined cumulatively from the skills of the integrated machine and address.

The "Right for requirement profile" allows you to restrict skill editing in the area of Resource Planning by means of a graduation of authorisations, which is shown below:

• 0 = The user is not given access to the skill list of an assignment.

• 1 = The user is given read access to the skill list.

• 2 = The user is given read and write rights as well as the right to adjust a requirement profile.

• 3 = The user is given read access and the right to select a requirement profile.
