Allocation of an Assignment to a Resource

When the assignment is created, it is already allocated to a resource or worklist. If you want to make subsequent changes, there are different ways of changing the resource or worklist.

Dispatching

Open an assignment. There is a "Dispatching" subarea in the images/download/thumbnails/378766376/Allgemein-Bereich_EN_img.png section. Here you can find the current allocation of the assignment. Under "Assign to", either choose Resource or Worklist.

If you want to allocate the assignment to a resource, use the images/download/thumbnails/378767270/image2019-2-4_12-0-14.png button to search for a resource. Click on the resource and save the change by clicking on images/download/thumbnails/378767266/image2019-12-5_16-27-48.png .

Or you can enter the new resource number manually in the "Resource *" field and confirm it.

If you want to allocate the assignment to a worklist, select the option "Worklist" under "Assign to". Now select a worklist from the list. Then save the change with images/download/thumbnails/378767266/image2019-12-5_16-27-48.png .

Moving on the Planning Board

Alternatively, you can move the assignment on the vertical axis in the planning board and thus allocate it to another resource or worklist.

You can end shifting an assignment by pressing the "ESC" key.

Copy to one or more resources

Instead of moving the assignment directly to a resource in the planning board, you can copy the assignment. To do this, right-click on the desired assignment and select "Copy" or "Copy to resources". The second option will open a list of resources. You can select one or more resources and confirm with images/download/thumbnails/378767770/2019-12-19_12h09_48.png . Alternatively, you can create a new resource with images/download/thumbnails/378767686/Plus-Icon-rund_magenta_img.png . An assignment can be copied as often as you like. The individual copies of the assignment are numbered consecutively.
