In addition to rights on assignments, there is an option to lock certain actions, the so-called action locks. A User with system rights can block certain actions via the main menu in the "Settings" section under "Administration" by clicking on the link .

Create an action lock

With one click on the -button, you can create a new action lock. Editing an existing action lock is possible with a click on the -button. If you want to delete an action lock, select it and click on the button. You can activate or deactivate an exception with the respective button.

Set exceptions

For each action lock you can define exceptions for individual users or groups. Select the relevant line of the action lock and click on the -button in the "Exceptions" section. With the -button you can edit existing exceptions. If you want to delete an exception, select the exception and click on the -button. You can activate or deactivate an exception with the respective button.

Example: Holidays in the past are defined not to be changed. Via the exception, you can now authorise the "Administration" group to change them anyway.
