1. Requirements

1.1. The end device must be able to establish a connection to the App Server. The URL for the App Server must be entered in the General Settings.

How the connection is established in detail depends on the individual configuration of your system. Usually access to the end device is realized via the Internet or the internal company network (e.g., VPN). In the latter case in particular, the rights of the network user must also be taken into account. If you encounter any problems, please contact your IT department.

1.2. A resource that the new app user is to be assigned to must be available.

1.3. If the future app user does not yet have a user account in INNOSOFT FSM, one must be created.

1.3.1. The FSM user account must be set to "Extended login".

1.3.2. Assign the required role or rights for an app user.

1.3.3. Link the user to the resource within the User Configuration (section: General).

1.3.4. Assign the required licenses (at least a mobile license) to the user in the User Settings in the Modules section.

2. Activating the app in the FSM

2.1. Open the resource (via the Planning board or Resource search).

2.1.1. Go to the section and click on .

2.1.2. When using Android or Apple devices, the generated QR code is required to initialize the app; for Windows devices, the initialization file is required.

3. Activation of the app on the end device

3.1. Install the Innosoft App on the desired device for app use:

• For Android and Apple devices, use the respective store.

• For Windows devices, you must run our app installation (available from your consultant).

3.2. Launch the app and follow the instructions.

3.3. For Android and Apple devices, scan the QR code; for Windows devices, import the initialization file.

3.4. Log in with the user account of the new app user.
