In this section you can enable or disable a user's credentials and set up the extended login.

Change user status

To set up a user login, set the status to "Active". You can also lock a user ("Locked for all applications").

Use the status "Locked for interactive applications" to e.g. provide a user for interfaces or other additional tools running in the background. A login in the Innosoft FSM is not possible in this status.

Use extended login

If you enable extended login for the user, this allows longer login names ("Extended user name") and administrative control of password complexity.

For the use of the Innosoft field service module on laptops in combination with a cloud solution, the extended login is mandatory. However, Innosoft recommends to always use the extended login due to the higher security.

Assign the "Extended user name" and set the password. You can generate a password using the button.

Enter the password again at "Password check". Please note that only ASCII characters between 33-122 are allowed e.g. A-Z,a-z,0-9,<,=,>,?! . Finally, save the data with the button .
