Installieren des Innosoft Datenbankschemas

Once you have set up a database for use with Innosoft, the next step is to create the Innosoft database schema. This is done via the Innosoft tool "ISDBUpdater".

1. First create a valid Innosoft.xml with the parameters from Setting up a compatible database.

2. Make sure that the SQL Server Native Client is installed on the executing system and that your connection string addresses the correct version of this driver.

3. Start the ISDBUpdater and select the path where the innosoft.xml created in 1 can be found.

4. Select "Update" to start the process.

5. When the process has been completed, a dialogue opens listing further steps that will now be carried out. Select "Start" to continue.

6. After all steps have been carried out, you can close the dialogue and the tool.
