Automatic assignment distribution - General Settings
The section
of the General Settings refers to the Automatic assignment distribution and the slot planning.
The calculation of the distances and the travel times is done via the air lines. The setting "Correction to linear distance (in %) "sets the markup in percent, which is added to the air line distance. The default value is 20%.
In the "Average speed (km/h)" setting, you can set the default average speed in km/h that will be used in the travel time calculation. The default value is 50 km/h.
In the "Assignment distribution" section, you specify whether the capacity is to be corrected relatively. Then the working time of the respective resource is used and the value from the "Capacity correction (minutes)" setting is added to the working time of the resource.
If the option is inactive, the absolute capacity is taken into account. For the absolute capacity, the value from the "Capacity correction (minutes)" setting is taken for all resources.
Under the item "Driving leg limit (min)" you specify the maximum travel time in minutes. An arrival or return journey cannot exceed this limit. Only the resources that meet the specified trip segment limit will be proposed for the assignment.
The following settings are exclusively for the slot planning!
The setting "Multi-day assignments. Minimal working duration (min)" specifies how much you have to work on one day until it is scheduled for several days.
The setting "Multi-day assignments. Minimal duration total (min)" specifies from how many minutes of working time and travel time on a day the assignment will be scheduled for several days.
The setting "Multi-day assignments. Minimal duration first day (min)" specifies how much must be worked on the first day of the assignment to start the assignment on that day.
The setting "Multi-day assignments. Optimize overnights" is intended to prevent additional overnights on an assignment if possible.
The setting "Activate slot-search from now on" prevents planning in the past. For example, if it is just 8 o'clock, it will be planned from 8 o'clock.
The setting "Offset in minutes" specifies how much offset should be planned to the current time. If you enter 60 minutes and it is 8 o'clock, then planning will start at 9 o'clock.
