Filtering the Planning Board
If you only want certain contents to be displayed on the planning board, you can use filters to hide all non-relevant contents.
Filter function
Click the button
to display the filter settings or the button
to hide them.
You can adjust various filter settings in the following fields:
Main group: Here you can select one or more superordinate groups to be displayed in the planning board. All other main groups are hidden.
Group: Here you select one or more groups to be displayed in the planning board. All other groups are no longer displayed in the planning grid.
Branch office: With this filter you determine which branches are displayed in the planning board and which remain hidden.
Type of resource: Use this to define which resource types are displayed in the planning board and which are hidden.
Resource status: Using the resource status, you can choose to display "Active" ,"Inactive" or "All" resources.
If you activate this button, only resources with assignments are displayed in the planning board.
When this button is activated, only worklists linked to assignments are displayed.
Click on this button to show external resources. If you deactivate the button, only internal resources are displayed.
If you activate "Resource filter", you can select one or more resources. Only these resources are then displayed in the planning board.
When this button is activated, you can only see the assignments in the worklist.
Click on Multi selection, if you want to select a group of assignments. You can select a group of assignments by using the shift key and drawing a rectangular zone over the assignments. Or you can select each assignment by pressing ctrl and clicking on the assignments one by one. This allows you to move, reduce or enlarge several assignments at the same time.
You can see the number of marked assignments here. To choose an action for your selected assignments use this button or a right-hand click on one of the selected assignments. You can delete, group or ungroup the selection, push the selection into the worklist, assign the selection to a ressource, filter projects or set/unlock fixations.
Filter assignments
Code: Here you can select one or more identification codes. All other identifiers are filtered out of the planning board. With the button
you can filter only the assignments in the worklist.
Click the codes in the legend to filter by them.
Flags: Choose one or more flags to filter all other flags out of the planning board. Use the button
to limit the display to the assignments from the worklist. If you press the button
, resources that have a flag in the indicated period are filtered.
Icons: Select one or more icon(s) to filter all the other icons out of the planning board.
With the project filter you can select one or more projects. Subsequently, only assignments for this project or these projects are displayed in the planning board.
Select one or more addresses here. Then only the assignments for this address or addresses are displayed in the planning board.
With the worklist filter you can limit the worklist by a filter. Only the groups set in the filter are displayed in the planning board.
Group by
Activate this function to view the planning board in the alphabetical listing of the resources.
If this button is active, the view of the planning board is sorted according to the address numbers.
Click on this button and the planning board is displayed as an overview of all project numbers. The option "Show project structure" is available, which shows main projects with their sub-projects.
If this function is activated, the inserts are displayed sorted by machines.
Display
Only working days are displayed. Weekends are hidden in the planning board. This option is available if no resource has a different weekend schema.
Assignments are displayed in the time zone of the logged in user.
If this option is active, the planning board is automatically updated after changes. If the option is deactivated you must update the planning board manually by clicking the button
.
If you activate the button, all assignments will be coloured with the project colour. If the function is inactive, the assignment is coloured according to the assignment type.
Click on this button to see grouped assignments in the graphic. If the function is inactive, the assignment is coloured according to the assignment type.
If this function is active, assignments are displayed as drawn over the whole day.
Click on the button to display a table of the assignments in worklists in the lower part of the window. These have not yet been assigned to a specific resource. Click on the button one more time to hide the table again.
If you click on the button, a Google Maps map opens in the right-hand area of the planning board. Once you have selected a resource or an assignment, the locations are displayed as markers on the map. You can then let a route be calculated.
Activate the capacity diagram by clicking this button. This gives you an overview of the utilization of the resources.
If this option is activated, assignments with SLA reference are highlighted in colour. For more information, see Assignments with SLA reference.
Activate the button to display the percentage utilization of each resource on a daily basis.
If you click on the button, the target periods of the assignments are displayed in the form of narrow bars.
If this button is activated, the cells are shown in the flag color. If the function is inactive, the current day is highlighted.
Activate this button to see the assignments in the flag color.
You can see the degree of completion by clicking on this button.
If this function is active, assignments can only be moved between resources or worklists by drag'n'drop.
If this function is active, assignments can only be moved horizontally (i.e. on the time axis) using drag'n'drop.
